Osaruyi Orobosa-Ogbeide currently serves as an Associate Vice President in charge of Project Development and Investments, at AFC, where he is responsible for AFC’s project development efforts, execution of direct investments, business development and project origination. He also manages the AFC-FMO joint project development facility, which deploys early stage investment to projects in order to achieve bankability. He is the Alternate Director on the Board of the Africa Infrastructure Development Association (AfIDA), a signature, innovative and strategic initiative of AFC that seeks to foster the advancement of project development activities on the African continent. Osaruyi executed AFC’s platform investment in the Gabon Special Economic Zone (GSEZ), alongside the Gabonese government and Olam International, a long-time player in Gabon’s agro-industrial and infrastructure space. The investment supported development and construction of a portfolio of seven (7) transportation projects, industrial zones and common infrastructure. He is currently leading the development of several renewable projects at AFC.

Prior to his current role, Osaruyi joined AFC in 2012, as Special Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) where he was responsible for strategy planning and execution, business development and origination. During this time, he was the CEO’s a nominee on several committees: Valuation, Sub-Investment, and Procurement, within the Corporation and at key corporate external events focusing on business planning, project finance, corporate governance, strategy development and implementation.

Osaruyi began his career with Financial Derivatives Company – a boutique investment banking firm in Lagos, in November 2007 as an economic research analyst. Segun Adaju is the CEO of Consistent Energy. Segun has provided expert services as a consultant on renewable energy to various organisations such as UNDP, Bank of Industry Nigeria, Ecobank Nigeria, USAID, Winrock International, World Bank Group, Federal Government of Nigeria, Hienrich Boll Foundation, CTI Private Finance Advisory Network, Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves etc. He has been playing a key role in creating access to clean energy for off-grid communities and poor rural households in Nigeria and a leading advocate for the removal of fuel subsidy in the Nigerian energy sector. As the Public Relations Officer of the Association of Nigerian Solar Energy Promoters, he has also led the advocacy for the creation of a level playing field for clean energy technologies and supported policy framework including mobilising rural women to advocate for increasing access to energy for the underserved. He brings his over two decades of commercial, retail and microfinance banking experience to bare on increasing access to finance across the renewable energy value chain.

Abiodun joined Stanbic IBTC in 2010 and served in the Transactional Products & Services (TPS) team as Sector Head, Oil, Gas & Telecoms Corporates from where he joined Power & Infrastructure team in January 2011. He played a key role in developing the bank’s strategy for the Power Sector in 2012 and in securing mandates in excess of $200 million in 2013 for acquisition finance of PHCN. Ify Malo is the Country Campaign Director for Power For All in Nigeria. She was also responsible for building, cultivating and driving public private partnerships for project delivery and implementation in the power sector. Moshood is a Partner in the Tax and Regulatory Services unit and the General Counsel, PwC Africa, West Market Area.
He has led engagements and transactions delivering on a number of cross border tax issues, tax due diligence, health check services and tax compliance services to local and multinational companies in the power sector. He has extensive experience across the energy, utilities and mining sectors and is currently one of the Partners responsible for the power industry at PwC Nigeria.
He was a member of the Committee set up for the reform of the pioneer status incentives regime, set up by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investments which eventually led to the release of new guidelines for the pioneer status incentives process. Marcus is the founder and CEO of the Abuja and London based company Pan Africa Solar Limited, focused on developing and investing in a 500MW pipeline of utility scale solar projects and rolling out Home Solar Systems to the 93 million Nigerians that have no access to the grid.
Pan Africa Solar is well known in Nigeria as the ‘front-runner’ solar developer. For their 75MW solar project in Katsina State, Pan Africa Solar were the first to obtain a Generation License, first to sign a PPA and hope to be the first to reach financial close in Q2, 2018.
Marcus has gained unparalleled experience in developing a solar business where none existed and then developing bankable utility scale projects in Africa’s largest and most challenging country. ‘Where documentation for a solar project did not exist in Nigeria we created them and then negotiated with the State stakeholders to adopt them’, says Marcus. In the meantime we are rolling out Home Solar Systems on a Pay As You Go basis and expect to reach 1,000,000 customers in the next 5 years. ‘There is demand now for affordable home solar systems. We provide a service based model and guarantee long term reliability’.

Florence (Flo) Okoli will be responsible for All On related partnerships with investors, development partners, corporations, and all financial and non-financial investments into energy firms. Together with the CEO, Flo will take programs and investment opportunities from "cradle to grave" including identification, deal closure, delivery and implementation. Flo will also support the CEO in the development of All On’s strategic objectives and business plans.
Flo has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Lagos, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She has rich and varied cross-functional and multi-industry experience, spanning Consulting & Advisory Services, Energy and Telecommunications, having worked in Arthur Andersen, MTN Communications (as a pioneer staff) and ExxonMobil. Flo also brings to All On deep commercial experience, having played a pioneering lead commercial and advisory role through Shell’s leadership and participation in restructuring the Nigerian Gas & Power industry through the joint industry development and implementation of the Nigerian Gas Master Plan (NGMP).
Flo is married to Chiedozie (Chido), and they are blessed with 3 wonderful sons. Flo enjoys reading and watching football, movies and TV series. Believing it is never too late to learn something new, Flo is taking piano lessons and plans to restart golf and swimming lessons if she can find the time!

He has an in-depth local and regional knowledge and played a very active role in the nation’s telecom boom where he worked with Huawei Technologies in several technical and project management lead roles having deploying mobile network solutions across 33 of Nigerian 36 states and across Ghana’s 10 regions with Cornea Technologies, a company he co-founded,rolling out nationwide hybrid power solutions for MTN Ghana.
Femi then move to South America , Suriname, as a mobile network consultant where he was instrumental to the commercial launch of Uniqa, Suriname 2G Networks.Femi thereafter moved to Muscat, Oman to rollout and design the Managed Network Service framework and tender for 3G and LTE networks for Oman Telecommunication living in Oman for over 4 years. He holds a bachelor degree in Computer engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.

Dr Victor Richard Osu is enthusiastic about enabling transformational changes in both the public and private sectors, specifically in the area of Environmental Policy and Planning. Thus, he had his PhD in the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen in the field of Sustainability transition and Governance: which combines insight from International development, climate change mitigation and socio-technical transition studies; towards understanding and analyzing the link between social innovation and sustainability transition. This interdisciplinary approach seeks to understand the persistent problems, and the enablers that could impact energy transition, particularly renewable energy sources and how a developmental programmes can be implemented to drive sustainable development.

In Nigeria, he has acted as a strategic advisor to key government parastatals including the Federal Ministry of power and various states government such as Bayelsa, Rivers, and Niger States in the areas of local energy and environmental governance. Specifically, he worked with the federal ministry of power in the design of an expression of interest for the African Development Bank Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa, towards formulating a framework that will underpin the implementation of supporting policy and the creation of an enabling environment for Green Mini-Grid based renewable energy development in Nigeria.

He is presently the Senior Researcher to the Executive Director (Rural Electrification Funds Directorate) responsible for providing technical advisory/assistance towards activities bordering on the successful implementation of REF’s mandate, which includes: establishing and administering the Rural Electrification Fund (REF); support in the expansion of electricity access through capital subsidies and identifying needs in communities through creating the required social innovation market that spurs rural development.

Carlos Miro has a background on International Cooperation and European Affairs. Prior to working for GIZ, he worked for the European Commission and the Alliance for Rural Electrification. Presently, he works as Head of Component on Sustainable Energy Access (Off-grid and On-grid) for the Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP) based in Abuja. The Component provides (inter alia) advisory services to the Federal and State Governments in Nigeria to create an enabling environment for private investment in the off-grid solar mini-grid sector.

About NESP: The Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP) is co-funded by the European Union and the German Government and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Power Works and Housing. The Programme supports the creation of an enabling environment for private investment in the renewable energy, energy efficiency and rural electrification sectors. It builds upon a first phase (2013-2017) during which, amongst other achievements, it provided access to sustainable electricity services to 10,000 rural dwellers through the facilitation of privately-led off-grid solar mini-grid projects. During its second phase, NESP aims at providing access to sustainable electricity services to 100,000 rural dwellers using the same model.
