Habiba Ali is the CEO and Managing Director of SOSAI Renewable Energies Company Nigeria. SOSAI Renewable energies offers reliable and sustainable products such as solar lamps, solar home systems and water filters to the people of mostly the rural and peri urban communities of Northern Nigeria. Currently, SOSAI Renewable Energies focus on empowering communities and businesses with solar technologies.
Prior to founding SOSAI Renewable Energies, Habiba Ali worked at Developmental Association for Renewable Energies (DARE) as a co-founder and National Coordinator, where she started to involve in renewable energy industries in 2005. During this time, she worked on the CDM project Efficient Cook Stoves for Nigeria, The Solar Lamps Assembly and sales training programs, Solar Dryers for Healthy foods project and a host of others.
Currently, Habiba Ali is the Interim Vice President of Renewable Energies Association of Nigeria. She also actively joins as a member of several organizations such as the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, the Partnership for Clean Indoor Air, Global Alliance for Clean Cook stoves, Nigerian Alliance for Clean Cook Stoves and the Nigerian Energy Network.
Habiba Ali possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, A master’s in Banking and Finance and currently at Dissertation level of PhD in Management (Finance).

Osaruyi Orobosa-Ogbeide currently serves as an Associate Vice President in charge of Project Development and Investments, at AFC, where he is responsible for AFC’s project development efforts, execution of direct investments, business development and project origination. He also manages the AFC-FMO joint project development facility, which deploys early stage investment to projects in order to achieve bankability. He is the Alternate Director on the Board of the Africa Infrastructure Development Association (AfIDA), a signature, innovative and strategic initiative of AFC that seeks to foster the advancement of project development activities on the African continent. Osaruyi executed AFC’s platform investment in the Gabon Special Economic Zone (GSEZ), alongside the Gabonese government and Olam International, a long-time player in Gabon’s agro-industrial and infrastructure space. The investment supported development and construction of a portfolio of seven (7) transportation projects, industrial zones and common infrastructure. He is currently leading the development of several renewable projects at AFC.

Prior to his current role, Osaruyi joined AFC in 2012, as Special Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) where he was responsible for strategy planning and execution, business development and origination. During this time, he was the CEO’s a nominee on several committees: Valuation, Sub-Investment, and Procurement, within the Corporation and at key corporate external events focusing on business planning, project finance, corporate governance, strategy development and implementation.

Osaruyi began his career with Financial Derivatives Company – a boutique investment banking firm in Lagos, in November 2007 as an economic research analyst. Osaruyi has an MBA from Lagos Business School, a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Benin and has attended several trainings in project finance, financial modelling, writing and public speaking, entrepreneurship, including a Corporate Governance course at IMD.

Segun Adaju is the CEO of Consistent Energy. Segun has provided expert services as a consultant on renewable energy to various organisations such as UNDP, Bank of Industry Nigeria, Ecobank Nigeria, USAID, Winrock International, World Bank Group, Federal Government of Nigeria, Hienrich Boll Foundation, CTI Private Finance Advisory Network, Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves etc. He has been playing a key role in creating access to clean energy for off-grid communities and poor rural households in Nigeria and a leading advocate for the removal of fuel subsidy in the Nigerian energy sector. As the Public Relations Officer of the Association of Nigerian Solar Energy Promoters, he has also led the advocacy for the creation of a level playing field for clean energy technologies and supported policy framework including mobilising rural women to advocate for increasing access to energy for the underserved. He brings his over two decades of commercial, retail and microfinance banking experience to bare on increasing access to finance across the renewable energy value chain.
Segun holds a B.Sc degree in Economics and MBA from the University of Lagos Nigeria and has attended executive training programs in Harvard Business School, MIT/Sloan School of Management, Frankfurt School of Management/UNEP, Lagos Business School and Renewables Academy Berlin.

Abiodun joined Stanbic IBTC in 2010 and served in the Transactional Products & Services (TPS) team as Sector Head, Oil, Gas & Telecoms Corporates from where he joined Power & Infrastructure team in January 2011. He played a key role in developing the bank’s strategy for the Power Sector in 2012 and in securing mandates in excess of $200 million in 2013 for acquisition finance of PHCN. Abiodun played a key role in Stanbic IBTC’s bid and success in the tender for Settlement Bank for NBET in 2014. He works closely with government stakeholders in the Power sector, ie NERC, TCN and NBET.
Before joining Stanbic IBTC, Abiodun Oni was employed as a graduate trainee in Guaranty Trust Bank in 2003, where worked in Oil & Gas in various capacities in the upstream and downstream sectors including Head, Downstream marketing, over 7 years.
Abiodun had is undergraduate studies at the University of Ilorin, where he graduated with a BSc in Statistics in 2000.

Marcus is an Associate Partner in Dalberg’s Nairobi office, where he leads teams advising corporates, private investors, and development finance institutions on strategy planning, performance, and investment across Africa. He has a particular sector focus in energy & infrastructure, financial services, and private equity. He is the Africa lead of Dalberg’s Energy & Infrastructure practice.
Marcus’ recent engagements have included developing strategy for a growth-stage tech firm in E. Africa, conducting feasibility and planning for a US-based green-field investor to develop an industrial park in W. Africa, and designing one of the largest renewable energy debt facilities in Africa.
Prior to joining Dalberg, Marcus worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington DC and Grassroots Business Fund in Nairobi. At the start of his career, Marcus worked as a private equity lawyer in London, where he advised private equity funds on fund formation and M&A. Marcus has a BA from Trinity College Dublin, an MA in International Development and Economics from Johns Hopkins University SAIS, and is a qualified attorney in England & Wales.

Erabor Okogun is currently a Director at Nemoante a Project Development and Advisory firm. In the past 17 years Erabor Okogun has closely worked with Executive Management and at Board levels delivering on over 50 projects and investments. His contacts, network, insight and experience are very diverse and highly valued. After graduating from the premier University in Ibadan, Nigeria, Erabor worked as a Credit Analyst on the Energy Desk of Nigerian American Merchant Bank (a Bank of Boston subsidiary now part of FCMB). He was involved in providing debts and structuring bank syndications to meet cashcall obligations for NNPC JV companies such as Shell and Chevron for their Field Development Plans. Later on Erabor worked in Venture Capital at Heirs Capital in Heirs Alliance, then co-founded Nextzon (as pioneer Head of eBusiness Strategy) and was part of the Executive Management at Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp Plc). Outside these roles he has consulted for the National Parliament, the Federal Government of Nigeria in creating and shaping PPPs achieving significant experience in government affairs and regulation. Over the last 6years he is focused on Advisory and Project Development in West Africa recently raising finance for Energy projects in collaboration with the IFC and other world class institutions with a portfolio of over $2billion. In the renewable energy space Erabor recently developed a 100mw fully permitted Solar PV project and has a project portfolio including off-grid wind, solar and hybrids. Erabor brings a set of strong origination, transaction management, strategy, regulatory advocacy skills sets plus a keen sense of local and global dynamics and opportunities. Erabor is a graduate of Leicester University, UK, where he completed his fulltime MBA. In his spare time, he has had a role in the UN as a coordinator and expert for regional youth Entrepreneurs Programs for youths at Secondary School level.
